Thank you Geno Rapa, Keld Olsson, and The Rhody Flyrodders Organization of RI  for hosting such a great night on The Narrow River last night. This was a great time and so many good friends and laughs! More than 12 Fly fishers showed and Geno and Keld where very happy with the turnout. Only two sideliners and two winter flounder  where caught , but the night, tide, bait, and wind all good, just that the fish where not there. Geno said that he thought the water coming from the Gooseberry Island Pond in the back was too warm keeping the fish away.

I will be fishing the Wood River a lot more now, waiting for the Hex Hatch to start, hoping for hot humid weather!  Look for my reports!  

The fish that where taken where caught on shrimp patterns, even the two flats.
