Fishing Report, 5/21/09

Mike and Paula had a great day at Addieville East Farm, note the Tiger trout Mike is holding

Everett and I fished the Wood River last night and did OK but the wind and all the leaves and other floating mass really put a damper on dry fly action. Very few bugs on the water and the two fish that I landed  took my Black Sparkle Ant and my Gray Soft Hackle. I did in fact see a large mayfly looked to be a size # 10 most likely a march brown only a few and a few tan caddis adults size # 18. Also a lot of midge.
Hopefully the wind will finally quit for both the freshwater and the saltwater pursuit .
