Fly Fishing Report, 5/12, 5/13, and 5/14

Nice fish from the Warren River, 5/9/09, this fish took my shrimp fly.

Everett, in the Warren river, 5/9/09.

Hi everybody, we have been fishing mostly saltwater one day a week in the fresh. Last night the wind and the worms at Ninigret Pond where very very prolific, but not many fish as Thursday night. Geno Rapa and his son, David fished Ninigret Thursday night I had to leave even before I could fish, a little issue I could not stay. I talked to Geno later that night and he told me fish where all over the place and lots of worms. The fish have started also a little south now in the smaller cove close to the parking lot, to left. Geno said the fishing  was tough, too many worms!

The Narrow River has been fishing very good on both the incoming and outgoing tides. I have been getting fish on my shrimp fly, hope to be posting a picture of this fly soon.  We also fished the breachway in Charlestown, not many fish.
