The Wood River in all it's late summer beauty!

Everett and I fished the Wood River on Sunday from 1:30PM to dark. The water level is just right and the river is crystal clear. If your looking for rising fish they just about didn't exist! We did manage to take a few fish on terrestrial patterns, ants, wasps, beetles, and caterpillar patterns. Only ants and wasps worked on this day. With the water level just right it makes for a great drag free float. Things can only become better now that we are coming into September, my favorite time of the year for fishing terrestrials.
